Terms of service

Last updated September 26, 2026

These terms are a contract between you and PowerSheets. By creating an account, starting a trial or paying for a plan, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use PowerSheets.

1. What PowerSheets is

PowerSheets is software for strength coaches to program training, track athletes and manage their roster. It runs at coach.powersheets.app (the "app"). The marketing site is powersheets.app.

2. Business use only

PowerSheets is sold to businesses and professionals, not consumers. By signing up you confirm that:

  • you are at least 18,
  • you use PowerSheets for your coaching business or profession,
  • if you sign up for a company, you can bind that company to these terms.

3. Your account

  • Give correct information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password safe. You are responsible for everything done with your account and any coach seats on your plan.
  • Tell us right away at legal@powersheets.app if you think someone got into your account.

4. Athletes and your responsibilities as a coach

You can invite athletes to see their program and log their training. For the athlete data you put in PowerSheets, you are the data controller and we are your processor. Our Data Processing Agreement is part of these terms and applies automatically.

You are responsible for:

  • having a legal basis to collect and share your athletes' data, including explicit consent for health data like bodyweight, nutrition or injuries,
  • telling your athletes how you use their data,
  • getting permission from a parent or guardian before adding any athlete under 16 (or the age of digital consent in their country). PowerSheets does not check ages and takes no responsibility for minors you add,
  • handling your athletes' requests to see, fix or delete their data (we'll help where we can).

Athletes who use the app through your invite must also follow the acceptable use rules below.

5. Plans, trials and payment

  • Prices are shown on our pricing page in US dollars. Prices exclude VAT and other taxes where applicable.
  • Billing is monthly or yearly, paid upfront, through our payment provider.
  • Auto-renewal: your plan renews at the end of each period until you cancel.
  • Trials: some offers include a free trial. We collect a payment method at the start. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you are charged for the plan you picked.
  • Athletes over your plan's limit: each plan includes a set number of athletes. Every active (not archived) athlete above that number is billed at the extra-athlete price shown on the pricing page, added to your subscription.
  • Plan changes: upgrades take effect right away and are charged pro rata. Downgrades and switches between monthly and yearly apply as shown in the app when you make the change.
  • Failed payments: if a payment fails, we will retry and let you know. If it stays unpaid, we may limit or suspend your account until it's paid.
  • Price changes: we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a new price applies to your plan. The new price starts at your next renewal.
  • Promo and affiliate codes only apply as described in the offer, can't be exchanged for cash and can't be combined unless we say so.

6. No refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable. This includes monthly and yearly plans, partial periods, unused time, extra athletes and seats, and charges after a trial ends. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and you won't be charged again.

7. Cancelling

You can cancel anytime from the Billing page in the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund the current period.

8. Acceptable use

Don't:

  • break the law or anyone's rights with PowerSheets,
  • upload data you have no right to share,
  • try to hack, overload, reverse engineer or copy the app,
  • scrape the app or access it with bots, except through features we provide,
  • resell or share access to PowerSheets outside your plan's seats,
  • upload viruses or harmful code.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

9. Who owns what

  • Your content is yours. Programs, templates, notes and athlete data you create stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and show it only to run PowerSheets for you.
  • PowerSheets is ours. The software, design, brand and everything else we made stay ours. You get a limited, non-transferable right to use it while your plan is active.
  • Feedback: if you send ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely.

10. Not medical advice

PowerSheets is a tool for planning and tracking training. It does not give medical, health or nutrition advice. Numbers like estimated maxes, percentages and RPE calculations are estimates and can be wrong. Strength training carries a risk of injury. You and your athletes are responsible for all training decisions. Check with a doctor where needed.

11. Third-party data and services

Some features use data or services from third parties, like public competition results. We don't control them and don't promise they are correct or always available.

12. Availability and changes to the service

We work hard to keep PowerSheets running, but we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove a major feature you pay for, we will tell you in advance.

13. Disclaimer

PowerSheets is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we give no warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

14. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, like lost profits, lost clients, lost data or reputational harm,
  • we are not liable for injuries or health problems linked to training decisions made by you or your athletes,
  • our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.

15. Indemnity

You will cover us for claims from third parties, including your athletes, that come from your use of PowerSheets, the data you upload, or you breaking these terms or the law.

16. Ending the contract

  • You can stop anytime by cancelling your plan and deleting your account in Settings. Deleting your account ends access immediately. No refund is given for the remaining period.
  • We can suspend or end your account if you break these terms, don't pay, or if we have to by law. If we stop the service entirely, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice.
  • After your account ends, you can no longer access your data. Export anything you need before you delete. We delete your data as described in our privacy policy.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For important changes we will email you at least 30 days before they apply. If you keep using PowerSheets after that, you accept the new terms. If you don't agree, cancel before they apply.

18. Law and courts

Belgian law applies. Any dispute goes to the courts of the judicial district where PowerSheets has its registered office.

19. Other

  • If part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
  • If we don't enforce a rule right away, we don't give up the right to enforce it later.
  • You can't transfer your account or these terms without our written OK. We may transfer them if PowerSheets is sold or restructured.
  • These terms, the privacy policy and the DPA are the full agreement between you and us about PowerSheets.
